Tomorrow we will head down to Hipapatua. Last year, we planted some Kahikateas among the original plants and in some cleared areas, we need to clear the convolvulus that has grown all over the plants🌳

Another great day for Wicked Weeders tomorrow 🌞 We are going to head back to the Matariki planting site alongside Rickett St and continue releasing the plants hiding in the grass.

Our first Weedies session is tomorrow from 930am, and I am excited to get everyone back together and into it! We will venture into Crown Park Gully from the Taupo Family Play Centre off of Tauharepa Road next to Crown Park BMX Carpark 930am -12pm

For Wicked Weeders on Tuesday, December 12th, the weather looks good 🌤️ we will head to the 2023 planting alongside the river below Kahurangi Gully / Rangitira Park, access from Gates Reserve.

The weather looks a little bit unpredictable. But before all the broom flowers disappear, I am keen to do one session with the weeders at the SPCA 2019 Arbor Day planting site cutting the broom out.

The plan for tomorrow is to support the KGT Mulching event at Crown Park. The event starts at 10 am. It would be awesome if we could have a few early starters at about 9 a.m. to get a head start. Cheers

If it looks like a bit of a window of dry weather around 9:30 a.m. Let’s head to the Matariki planting site to release the plants down opposite the Te Kohanga reo. on Rickett Street. 😁 If it is wet stay home 🌦️

This Tuesday we are planning to head to Karatoto Rd, down the road from the Hub Cafe. There is a large cleared area opposite the Honey Hive 😁

This Tuesday, we will head to Hipapatua, previously known as Ried’s Farm. We will plant the remaining plants that are left over from the season. See you all there from 930am🌳🌳🌳

Tomorrow we will head back to the Whakaipo Bay planting site and make sure that all plants are planted correctly from 10 am 😁

It looks like it’s going to be another good Tuesday for Wicked Weeders 😁 We are going to head back to the Matariki planting site and finish spreading the mulch around the plants and the site

Tomorrow we will head back to Hipapatua and make sure that all plants are planted correctly. Mulch may have been delivered; if it is there, we will start spreading it around the plants.

Tomorrow looks like showers, so we will postpone until Friday 8th. Plants are arriving Friday from 9 a.m. We will be able to do some tidying up after unloading the load of plants.
