Our Changing World: Turning Taupō green
On 9 December 1982, a helicopter accident on Mt Ruapehu claimed five lives. Two years later, a living memorial, the Tongariro Natural History Society, was established in their honour. Today, more than 40 years later, the work of this group continues.

Restoring the cloak of Tauhara
