Wicked weeders 26th March

Hi all,

Tomorrow we will head down to Hipapatua.

Late last year, we planted some Kahikateas, Manukas, and Ribbonwoods among the original plants and in some cleared areas🌳

I went to check on them the other day and luckily we staked them all, as the convolvulus has grown over everything and many of the plants have been buried.. So we will head in and free them from the weeds

See you all at 930am. There could be a couple of passing showers first thing, the area is wet underfoot in places, so gumboots could be a good choice; don’t forget your gardening gloves and there could be a few bees and wasps still hanging around.

I will bring a few hand tools and the morning tea 😊

Hipapatua, off of Huka Falls Rd, Park up by the amenities down near the river
