Wicked Weeders 10am tomorrow

Hi all,

We had our last planting on Saturday out at Whakaipo Bay and it was another really successful one🌳 Thank you to all those who helped set up, it was a massive day and thanks also to the ones who helped out on the day, it all made the event go so smoothlyπŸ’š

Tomorrow we will head back to the Whakaipo Bay planting site and make sure that all plants are planted correctly, they have certainly had a good water, but some plants were a little root-bound (Karamu) so these may need to be lifted and tickled a bit 😁 I also have a few plants to put in some of those empty holes.🌳

Tuesday 10 am-1230pm Whakaipo Bay down by the W2K shelter

I will bring some spades, plants, and afternoon tea. Don’t forget your gloves and a raincoat, it does look like it could ease off by 10am but then again 🌧️🌧️🌧️🌞

No Wicked Weeders next Tuesday, October 3rd, as I am away.

Tuesday, October 10th, at 930 a.m., we will head to Hipapatua and plant the last of the native plants that we have left over.
