Wicked Weeders November 7th

Hi all. Once again, the weather has kept me guessing. It does look like tomorrow morning could be clear for weeders, with showers not arriving till the afternoon.🌦️

If the forecast is right and it’s dry 🌤️ the plan is to return to the Matariki planting site along Rickit Street and continue releasing the plants from the Te Kohanga reo towards the Taupō Community Kids Childcare. Plants down towards the childcare centre are completely lost amongst the long grass. Students led by KGT will be spreading mulch around the area we cleared last week.

I will bring along the grubbers, weed eater and a morning tea.

See you from 930am dont forget your gloves and your raincoat

Coming up:

November 14th: Supporting the KGT Mulching event at Crown Park The event starts at 10 am. We will try to get an area cleared and ready for mulching before the students arrive.

November 21st and 28th: SPCA site, there is a little bit of broom to cut and paste 🏵️

December 5th and 12th: Hipapatua, I would say we would need to take care of some convolvulus.

December 19th: Thank you lunch ☺️
