This Tuesday we are planning to head to Karatoto Rd, down the road from the Hub Cafe. There is a large cleared area opposite the Honey Hive 😁

This Tuesday, we will head to Hipapatua, previously known as Ried’s Farm. We will plant the remaining plants that are left over from the season. See you all there from 930am🌳🌳🌳

Tomorrow we will head back to the Whakaipo Bay planting site and make sure that all plants are planted correctly from 10 am 😁

It looks like it’s going to be another good Tuesday for Wicked Weeders 😁 We are going to head back to the Matariki planting site and finish spreading the mulch around the plants and the site

Tomorrow looks like showers, so we will postpone until Friday 8th. Plants are arriving Friday from 9 a.m. We will be able to do some tidying up after unloading the load of plants.

Hi all A change of time for weeders tomorrow; we will be starting at 11 am up by Wairakei Village. There will be some planting, staking and collecting of rubbish that has been dumped throughout the site.

Tomorrow the weeders will be heading to Hipapatua (Reid’s Farm, Huka Falls Road) from 1230pm

Aaron from Landclear will be clearing the September planting site with a mulcher in the next couple of days. It would be good to release the plants along the top boundary.

Tomorrow we will be heading back to the Matariki Site, off Rickett Street. We will be checking the plants to make sure that they have been correctly planted, staking the plants, and mulching if time allows.

Hi all, this Tuesday we will continue tidying up the Matariki planting sites, we will work on the 2022 site alongside the river, towards the control gates

I hope everyone is well and staying warm. For the month of July, we are going to have the Tuesday Wicked Weeders at the previous Matariki planting sites and finish up on the last Tuesday of the month, preparing for the 2023 Matariki planting day. This Tuesday the 4th, we will be at the site that’s easier to access through the gate next to the water treatment plant.

For Wicked Weeders tomorrow, we are going to return to the Centennial Drive planting site between the Taupo Golf Club and AC Baths.

Hi all, Rachel would like some help in Brentwood Gully. She would like to meet up near the bottom of the gully, off Lakewood Drive. There is an area of plants that need to be found and released from the tall grass and then staked This will be up the gully a bit. Have a great day

Hi all. We have Greening Taupō Day coming up on Friday, June 2nd, at Crown Park (the same place as last year).

The plan for weeders tomorrow (Tuesday at 1230 p.m.) is to check over last year’s site, grub out any weeds such as broom, and release any plants that are getting a bit overgrown. Lets make it all look nice and tidy :)
