Wicked Weeders 8 September
Hi all,
We had a fantastic community planting at Hipapatua on Saturday! It was a beautiful day with a great turnout of planters, and we managed to get all the plants in the ground, mulched and staked. Perfect timing too, with some lovely rain afterwards to help settle everything in. 🌱 A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success!
For Wicked Weeder Tuesday, we'll head back to the Hipapatua planting site to check over the new plants, making sure they're all nicely planted, firm in the ground and well staked.
I'm out tomorrow, but Heidi will be there to support and, most importantly, she'll have the afternoon tea! 😊
Time: 12:30–2:45 pm
The rain should have passed by then, but the site may still be a little slippery in places, so please wear sturdy footwear and don't forget your gloves.
