Wicked Weeders 4th August

Hello everyone,

Wow, it's the first week of August already! Winter still has a month to go, but it's nice to see the days getting just a little bit longer, at least 2 minutes a day🌞

For tomorrow's Wicked Weeders session, we will head back to the Centennial Drive planting site. Taupō District Council has delivered a lovely pile of vermicast, generously donated by Mynoke. John and Andrew have been busy preparing the site, so tomorrow we'll get a head start by filling the planting holes with vermicast before the plants arrive on Friday.

The forecast is looking fine but cold. The ground is uneven, so please wear sturdy footwear, bring your gloves, and wrap up warm.

12:30 pm – 2:30 pm

I'll bring the buckets, shovels, and of course, a tasty afternoon tea for everyone. 😊

See you there!
