Wicked Weeders March 10th
Hi all
We’ll go for a stroll through the main KGT planting along the bike track at Spa Park to check on its progress and tackle any weeds lurking before making our way to the smaller plantings along the edge and along the service lane. We will cut and paste broom, cut back and grub out any blackberry💚. A KGT Kindergarten class will be joining us at the beginning of the morning, so we may give them a hand to get started.
When: 9:30 – 11:30 AM
Where: Meet at the main carpark at the end of Country Lane, Spa Park.
I’ll bring a variety of tools and, of course, the all-important morning tea! 🫖🍪 Don’t forget to bring:
✔ Gardening gloves ✔ Sensible footwear ✔ A keen eye for wasps
🌞 The forecast looks great; bring a hat!
Looking forward to another great morning. See you there!
And for the following week in March
🌱 Tuesday 17th Broadlands Geothermal access Tauhara Road.
Volunteer Great Lake Taupō acknowledges a volunteer each month, and for January, they shone the spotlight on our wonderful Wicked Weeders. With a special shout-out to our poster boy, Dr Nick Bradford – we love it! 💚💚
