Wicked Weeders Tuesday 13th May

Hi all,

The Wicked Weeders’ plan for tomorrow is to head out to the Rotary Ride planting site along the bike track, where a community planting is happening this Saturday, the 17th. With another beautiful day on the cards, we’ll tackle some broom along the boundary of the planting site—cutting and pasting as we go 🌳

I’ll bring grubbers, hand tools, Cut’n’Paste, and of course, afternoon tea 😁

Please bring your gloves and wear sturdy footwear, as the ground is uneven and hidden in places.

See you tomorrow, 12:30–2:45 PM!

Directions to the site:
From the Spa Park carpark, follow the bike track that cuts through the Kids Greening Taupō planting area. Continue along the track, head down the zig-zag, cross the service lane and the bridge, then carry on up through the gully. Keep following the track along the fenceline and you should then see the planting site. It should take you about 15 minutes from the car park.
