Wicked Weeders 21st July

Hi all.

Tomorrow we'll be heading back to the Broadlands Geothermal Arbor Day planting site, next to the Taupō Golf Club off Tauhara Road.

We will continue with putting out the many bamboo stakes throughout the planting site. These stakes will help mark the young plants, making future maintenance and weed control much easier.

I'll bring the mallets, ties, and some tasty afternoon tea. Wrap up warm, as it can be pretty cold at this site, and don't forget your gloves to help keep those splinters at bay!

Coming up

We have another community planting coming up on the 8th of August along Centennial Drive. We will spend the next couple of Tuesdays there supporting Andrew in getting the site all ready for the planting event. 🌱
