Wicked Weeders 22nd July🌳

Hi all,

The weather’s looking good for Wicked Weeders tomorrow, so we’re going ahead with last week’s plan — this time without the rain! We’ll be heading back to the Centennial site along Centennial Drive, between the AC Baths and the entrance to the Taupō Golf Club.

Andrew is keen to run the Bike Taupō mower through the area, so tomorrow we’ll focus on:

🌿 Finishing the releasing around the remaining plants🌳
🌿 Removing bamboo stakes that are no longer needed
🌿 Clearing branches and debris that’s not good for the mower
🌿 Pulling mulch away from the stems of plants

This tidy-up will get the site looking great ahead of our next community planting day on Sunday 3rd August. 😁🌳

Time: 12:30–2:45 PM
We’ll be working closer to the AC Baths this time, near the 2022/2023 planting area.

I’ll bring along a selection of tools — and of course, some afternoon tea to share.
