Wicked Weeders 25th Novemberš±
The Weeders did the best job last week with clearing the blackberry away from the plants at the Spa Park planting, hopefully, council will be following up in a couple of weeks, making sure the blackberry is kept back over summer- Great work team š
This Tuesday weāll be supporting KGT with another mulching session at the 2025 GT Day planting site off Tauhara Road, beside the golf course. As well as mulching, weāll be checking all the plants to ensure mulch is kept clear of stems, stakes are straight and secure, and any plants needing support are tied up.
9.30 am ā 12.00 pm
Best to avoid parking next to the planting site or the golf course, as there is a high risk of golf balls causing damage. Instead, please park at the entrance opposite the BP or along the road.
The weather is looking fine, with any early showers expected to clear. The ground is uneven in places, so sturdy footwear and donāt forget your gloves.
Buckets will be there, and Iāll bring spades, mallets, ties, a few hand tools, and morning tea š
See you there.
