Wicked Weeders 4th November

Yay for sunshine! 🌞

This Tuesday, we’re heading to the Matariki planting site along Rickett St. We’ll start down by the river and work our way through the site. Tasks will include grubbing, releasing plants that need attention, staking, and generally giving the site a good check-up to make sure everything is thriving. 💚

I’ll be bringing a selection of tools—grubbers and loppers—as well as morning tea! ☕🌱 Don’t forget gloves, sturdy footwear, and a hat—it should be a lovely, fine day.

We’ll also have some students with us, including international students from Taupō Nui. And the Kids Greening team will be working up the top with more students mulching around the plants near the playgroup, thanks heaps to Hutch for preparing the site.

Time: 9:30–11:00 am
