Wicked Weeders 9th April 🌳

Hi all

It’s looking okay for Wicked Weeders tomorrow 🌤️ We are going to head back to the Matariki planting site alongside Rickett St and head down towards the river to release the plants on the bank (blackberry warning) and the ones on the flat, hiding in the grass.

We will collect up any stakes that aren’t required and stake plants that need them.

I will bring grubbers, shears, hand tools and morning tea 😁 I may throw in the weed eater

Bring along your gloves and sensible footwear, as the ground is uneven and hidden.

We will stick to the 930am start for tomorrow but will change it to the afternoon start after the school holidays on 30th April 1230-245pm

The 2024 planting calendar is out, It’s going to be another amazing planting season, I will bring a hard copy for all tomorrow at Weeders.
