Hi all, this Tuesday we will continue tidying up the Matariki planting sites, we will work on the 2022 site alongside the river, towards the control gates

I hope everyone is well and staying warm. For the month of July, we are going to have the Tuesday Wicked Weeders at the previous Matariki planting sites and finish up on the last Tuesday of the month, preparing for the 2023 Matariki planting day. This Tuesday the 4th, we will be at the site that’s easier to access through the gate next to the water treatment plant.

Hi all, Rachel would like some help in Brentwood Gully. She would like to meet up near the bottom of the gully, off Lakewood Drive. There is an area of plants that need to be found and released from the tall grass and then staked This will be up the gully a bit. Have a great day

For Wicked Weeders tomorrow, we are returning to the Centennial Drive planting site. There is a bit of broom to cut and paste and a bit of blackberry to release from the 2021 plants. See you there :)

Hi all. We have Greening Taupō Day coming up on Friday, June 2nd, at Crown Park (the same place as last year).

The plan for weeders tomorrow (Tuesday at 1230 p.m.) is to check over last year’s site, grub out any weeds such as broom, and release any plants that are getting a bit overgrown. Lets make it all look nice and tidy :)

Hi all, wicked weeders are now into winter hours and will be held from 1230pm to 245pm.

We have another planting coming up in a couple of weeks at the 2020 Arbor Day site on Centennial Drive, so for tomorrow I’m keen to head along and tidy it up, mostly grubbing out the Blackberry that’s coming back.

Hi all, Tomorrow we will head back to the planting site at Taupo Golf Club. We need to check all the plants and finish a few jobs: mulching, installing plant guards, staking, and maybe some watering. See you all tomorrow

Cyclone Gabrielle has totally ruined all plans for our weeding session this Tuesday, so this has been cancelled but we do have a plan for this Friday that we would love your help with read on.
