Wicked Weeders 4th February

Hi all,

A big thank you for the fantastic turnout last week! It was great to see so many of you there, and we got heaps done 🎉

Tomorrow, Tuesday the 4th, we’ll be meeting at the 2024 Spa Park planting site🌱 along Centennial Drive, opposite the AC Baths right next to the NZ Post shed. You can park on the grass verge alongside Centennial Drive.

We’ll tackle the weeds that are creeping in and starting to invade the planting site—there’s broom to cut and paste and convolvulus to pull back. We’ll be careful not to disturb the young plants too much since it’s hot and dry at the moment.

I’ll bring along a selection of tools, cut n paste and the morning tea to keep us fuelled.

Dont forget to bring your gloves, it’s hot and sunny so cover up, sunblock and extra water to stay hydrated🌞🌞🌞
