Great start to target of 250,000 plants in 5 years
With the help of the community and local organisations, Greening Taupo has made a great start to its target of 250,000 plants in 5 years - since launch in July 2013, Greening Taupo has been involved with getting over 20,000 plants in the ground in conjunction with Contact Engery, Bike Taupo and Department of Conservation / Living Legends. Plus there are another 6000 plants scheduled to be planted within the next 2 weeks in conjunction with Waikato Regional Council, Patuiwi Reserve Trust, Transpower, Taupo District Council, Bike Taupo, Landcorp and Contact Energy.
Let's work hard together to keep the momentum going!!!
